Hi I'm John

I'm a husband, I'm a volunteer, I'm a history nut, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love history, I love golf, I love vintage airplanes, I love to read, I love the Boston Red Sox, I love barbeque and dutch oven cooking. I recently returned to college to complete my degree. I have a wonderful wife who puts up with me. We have no children, but we are hoping to adopt soon.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my entire life, but it wasn't until I was 18 years old that I was truly converted. I had many questions an doubts, but after much prayer and pondering I had a couple of very special experiences that helped me realize the love my Father In Heaven has for me, the purpose of a restored Gospel on the earth, and the need for a living prophet. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has made me a better person.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by serving others. I don't think service needs to be a huge event, but more the little things. Taking time make someones day a little better, fixing a neighbors fence, shoveling snow from a neighbors walkway. I think is important to treat others the way I would like to be treated. I feel it essential to love everyone, no matter their religion, social standing or ideology.

Are Mormons Christians?

John
Absolutely! Any argument to the contrary is utterly ridiculous. Jesus Christ is the center of our religion. The reality and divinity of our Lord and Savior is preached and taught in every facet of our doctrine. Show more Show less
