Hi I'm Megan

I grew up as a Mormon, but came to know the truth of it for myself.

About Me

I have been married 5 years and have a beautiful little girl. I love staying at home with my little girl and I get the opportunity to work on the weekends as a physical therapist. I love running and recently just finished my first triathlon!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a Mormon, but wanted to know for myself at an early age if it was true. The truth is all along the small principles I had learned in my youth had built that testimony. I finished reading the Book of Mormon for the first time when I was in high school. I remembering feeling like, Megan, you know this is true, and I do know it is true. Living the things I had been taught, feeling that warm feeling showing me what I am doing is right, had built my testimony throughout my life.

How I live my faith

I play piano for the ward choir and lead the music in Sacrament meeting. I love music so this is a wonderful opportunity. I also love visiting teaching. I have two great sisters I visit each month where we can talk about our lives, families and be strengthened in our faith.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Megan
The day I was married, it was in a temple. It was a beautiful feeling to know that my husband and I could be together forever and our children some day would be a part of that family too. This was especially poignant when my brother died. I knew that my parents had been sealed together in the temple and we would be a family. I would see my brother again. The truth is, he doesn't seem that far away now as I know that our Father in Heaven is aware of us and watches over each of individually, wanting us to return to Him too. Show more Show less
