Hi I'm Angela

I grew up in the United States. I am a wife and a mom. My husband is from Brazil. I am passionate about reading and learning.

About Me

I am a mother of four children. The oldest of six children. My husband is from Brazil. I graduated college with a degree in Graphic Art and Illustration and a degree in Geography. I had to relearn how to walk after a childhood accident. I have traveled to England, France, Mexico, Canada, Brazil and many states in the USA.

Why I am a Mormon

The doctrines and teachings of The church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are practical and make sense. They are not hard to understand. They do require self discipline and commitment. The doctrines become a way of life and I do not miss or regret any other lifestyle. What I really like the most about the teachings of the church is that I am allowed to ask questions, seek God and pray for myself to know if He exists and how He wants to help guide my life.

How I live my faith

I love being actively involved in my church. I help with the Organization for children called, Primary. I am the secretary for my neighborhood area (called a "ward"). I enjoy organizing all the information, getting to know the teachers, and greeting all the smiling faces of the children each Sunday morning. Other days I get together with women in my neighborhood for movie nights, book club, socials, and visits. My husband and I try to include all our neighbors of any faith in activities planned by us or others. Most of my husband's family does not share the our faith-so respect and inclusion is a happy must for us.
