Hi I'm Bryan

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Mormon. I am a husband. I am a father of three boys. I enjoy spending time with my family, which mean the the world to me. I have always loved my family very much. However, after joining the Church and learning the eternal perspective of the family I find that I love my family deeper and more completely. More than I could've ever imagined.

Why I am a Mormon

In the Bible, New Testament in James 1:5 it reads: "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not and it shall be given him." I knelt down and prayed to Heavenly Father and asked him: - Is the Book of Mormon true? - Was Joseph Smith a true prophet? - Is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints the true church? A few moments after asking these questions, I received my answer by the Holy Spirit. A warm feeling was felt throughout my body and the emotion of peace, love and joy was with me. I will never forget that moment.

How I live my faith

First and foremost I remember to thank our Heavenly Father and our Savior Jesus Christ every single day. I have found myself to be heavily involved in scouts ever since I've joined the Church. I have been blessed to have been asked to serve as: Cub Master, Webelos Leader and now Assistant Scoutmaster. Funny thing is I've always wanted to become involved in scouting as an adult! I enjoy working with the boys and I am inspired by their eagerness and enthusiasm.

Who are the Mormons?

Chances are there Mormons living in your neighborhood, going to your schools and working where you work. I never realized this until I was in my early twenties. And it made sense! These people who were Mormon were very nice, morally straight and trustworthy people of whom I had high opinions of. Mormons are people who center their faith on Jesus Christ and it is evident in their lifestyle and behavior. Show more Show less

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Pray to Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ. In the Bible in James 1:5 it reads: "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." Pray to Heavenly Father. Pray with the belief that you will be answered. Pray with the intent that you will follow through. Show more Show less

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

I find that our loving Heavenly Father, who loves all of his children dearly, would provide a prophet in these times as in the biblical times. The living God speaks through prophets and continues to give guidance to us today. If you take a look the past prophets' teachings since the church was restored, you will see divinely inspired advice and guidance. Prophets are the mouth piece of the Lord and I find that if I give heed to their words and act upon them, I am blessed immeasurably. Show more Show less
