Hi I'm Michael

I own a chocolate milk company in Massachusetts, I fly fish, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Right now I'm very busy with a new business and finishing a graduate degree. I work full time and take evening classes. The rest of my time is spent with my wife and children pursuing outdoor adventures. Our life is hectic, but I'm grateful for the opportunities I have right now.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe Jesus Christ's words. I believe what he taught because of the way my life is enhanced when I try my best to follow Him. Life can be pretty rough, but I find that forgiving others, looking for ways to help out when I can, and learning to love, makes all the difference in my outlook. I feel hopeful and not fearful of the future. Knowing that I can speak with a loving Heavenly Father through prayer is empowering. I can really speak with Him and seek to make decisions with His help that will benefit my family and those around me. I love my church because of the support it gives me in my desire to follow the Savior and invite my children to do the same.

How I live my faith

I am very active with our local church congregation. I am an assistant to the leader, or Bishop, of our group. I help organize Sunday school classes as well as instructional activities for the youth. Sunday's are exciting days and I enjoy being with my friends and family at church.

What is the Church's position on abortion?

Life is sacred. If the birth of a child is not life-threatening to the mother, its life should be preserved. If a mother is unable to care for a child, it is encouraged to release the child into a caring adoptive family. There are not always easy solutions to complex situations and great care should be taken in each individual's circumstance to reach a positive conclusion. In almost every case, it is advised to choose life over an abortion. Show more Show less
