Hi I'm Ty

I am a husband to a fantastic wife, a father to seven unbelievable children. I am an outdoor enthusiast. I laugh. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the husband to a wonderful wife and the father of seven children. I enjoy all outdoor activities, especially the ones which my children enjoy. I work in the heavy highway side of the construction business.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to the LDS church. I have been a member for nearly 16 years. When I first started to investigate the church I looked at it from a "common sense" view. After studying the Chuch I realized that the Gospel, God's love and the plan of salvation made sense since God loves each one of us individually. After satisfying my "commen sense" questions I looked more into the spiritual side, asking for asnwers about the truthfulness of the book of mormon. I received both direct and indirect answers. People entered and influenced my live in such a manner that it couldn't be random. In the time that has passed since by conversion and baptism I have never regretted it for a moment. Even though at times it has been hard, the gospel has blessed mine and my families life in ways that I couldn't have imargined and I can't deny.

How I live my faith

I currently teach the 16 and 17 year old Sunday School class. I also volunteer in the community where time allows. My granddaughter was diagnosed tihe diabetes. Our entire family has taken an active role in the Juvenile Diabetes Reseach Fountation. Serving in my church and the community has allowed me to serve others and better understand what the Gospel is truly about.
