Hi I'm Trevor

I ride bikes, make awesome things with computers, and eat pizza. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Playing, going to school, working, and loving my family are what I do best. I'm studying information systems. I love Ultimate Frisbee, playing racquetball, and trying new places to east pizza. I also love to ride my bike to and from work, about 50 miles, every day.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a member of the church because of the bounteous blessings I have received from adhering to the teachings and principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I believe these teachings have been taught throughout the history of the earth, and are currently taught by a living prophet, Thomas S. Monson. I'm also a Mormon because of the scriptures. The Bible and the Book of Mormon support me in the thick and thin of life. The Book of Mormon, especially, has helped me come closer to my Savior, Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

Daily. I try and help myself and others come closer to the Lord. I try to see and treat everyone as children of God. I have found I'm closest to the Lord and it's easiest to live my faith when I'm reading the scriptures often and communicating with the Lord through prayer daily. In addition to the daily living, I have several responsibilities at church involving Gospel teaching that help me bring myself and other's closer to the Lord.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Sometimes I'm tempted to think that this will just magically happen. The fact is, it won't. One has to act - something, anything, is better than nothing. Ideally, if you regularly spend time learning the ways of the Lord (through studying the scriptures, serving others, praying, etc.), then He will draw near to you. Show more Show less
