Hi I'm Dianna

I am married to my best friend and have been blessed to become a mother through the miracle of adoption.

About Me

I am a stay at home mom. I've been married to my wonderful husband since 2006. We are trying build our family through adoption. We have one beautiful, active son. We enjoy spending time together as family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a LDS (Mormon) family and was taught from the time I was young the teachings of the Church. I cannot recall a time when I did not believe in what has been taught to me. I know for myself that what I have been taught is true. I know Joseph Smith is a prophet of God who restored the true Gospel of Jesus Christ to the earth. I have read the Book of Mormon many times and know it is the word of God. I know Jesus Christ atoned for the sins of all men so that we can repent. I know that we have a living prophet on this earth, as in the Bible, who gives us guidance for our time. I have seen the truthfulness of the teachings of the Church as I have lived them.

How I live my faith

I enjoy going to our church meetings and learning more about our Heavenly Father's plan for His children and my husband and I are striving to teach our son about it as well. We are teaching his to pray, to read scriptures, and to attend church meetings. We have been taught family is very important in our church so we try to do thing that will strengthen our family and keep us close to Heavenly Father.

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Dianna
Yes, to both questions as far as it is translated correctly. The Bible was passed through many hand before it came into the forms we know. In the process there were many changes made by the translators. Therefore, some things have been changed that affect the way we understand what is written. Show more Show less
