Hi I'm Jill

I've been a Mormon my whole life. Family History is my passion and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi, my name is Jill. I have been a member of the LDS Church my whole life. I was married in the temple and sealed for all time and eternity to my wonderful husband. I have two children and we are very active members of this church. I have been involved in family history work since 1996 and just love it. I graduated from college and currently work as an office manager in an engineering firm.

Why I am a Mormon

Since I have been a member of the church my whole life, many would think that it is just automatic to be a member and go through the motions. But there is a conversion for even those that have been members their whole lives. As I grew up, I learned to love the teaching of the church and the more I studied, the more I knew this was the true church. It made sense and when I had questions, the churches beliefs had the answers. I can't imagine my life without this gospel. It has given me direction and kept me focuse,d especially when we live in a world that questions those very values.

How I live my faith

I have several responsibilities in our church. One is working with the members and the community to help with family history research. There is a connection between our generation and those that lived in the past. Learning about your ancestors and their joys and hardships, gives you a connection that helps to identify who you are. We also believe that if we are linked to our families through temple ordinances we can be with them forever. To know that our Heavenly Father loves us enough to provide these saving ordinances brings peace to my life.
