Hi I'm Jason

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised in Southern California. I served my mission in Spain, over Andalucia and the Canary Islands. I am currently a college student.

Why I am a Mormon

I am part of the Church because it gives me a reason to always have a smile on my face. I am not rich and I do have problems of my own, but things just seem to always work out, and days when they don't I at least know that I have a Father in Heaven that loves me, and wants the best for me, so it will work out eventually.

How I live my faith

I just try to be a good man. I read scriptures, pay tithing, and have fun in my calling in the activities committee making sure we all get to have fun in my ward.

Why is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints called Mormons or Mormonism?

Jason
Those of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are called Mormons because we use scripture other than the Bible called the Book of Mormon. Although we believe in the Bible and in Jesus Christ some are confused into thinking we worship someone named Mormon. Also Mormon is a lot easier to say that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, so the world calls us that, although we usually just say LDS. Show more Show less
