Hi I'm Stephanie

I live in Arizona and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and mother. I enjoy keeping house, reading, baking and sewing. My greatest joy comes from spending time with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents raised me to be a Mormon, but along the way I learned for myself that this church is where I belong. I believe in its teachings. I know they are true. They bring me peace and have given me a foundation for a wonderful life. Because of my membership in this church, I am sealed to my husband and children for eternity. This is my greatest blessing.

How I live my faith

I serve in our ward's Relief Society. I assist the Relief Society President with her duties, and specifically I help direct the compassionate service activities in our ward. This means that if someone is ill or has given birth, or needs extra help, I make sure that help is given. I am also asked to teach a lesson in our Relief Society periodically. Aside from my official duties in the Relief Society, I am a neighbor and friend. I visit women in my neighborhood to share a spiritual message and perform service. I look forward to these visits each month. The women I visit have become some of my best friends.

What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

I am lucky. My husband is able to provide a good living for our family and I am able to stay at home with our children. I know this is not always a possibility, but I am grateful for my situation. I feel strongly that traditional gender roles create greater contentment and success in family life. Show more Show less

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

The purpose of this life is to gain a body so that we can have experiences that will bring us closer to our Heavenly Father. Show more Show less
