Hi I'm Chelsea

I'm a mother, and I'm a Mormon, too.

About Me

I'm a wife, and a mother of 3 children. I am always running after them to clean up a mess they made, or helping them get ready for school. I'm constantly full filling requests for a snack, a drink, a project that needs help with. It's the mommy-job that every mother can identify with! Among the daily craziness, the messes and the chaos- I find my life is filled with joy in the role of being the mom. There's no better thing to me than being there to nurture my children. I love to get creative when I can, pulling out a project or dreaming up some great idea, refinishing furniture, making paper-projects, I love to make things! I've got a hobby too, if crafts don't count, I've found something that I love to do (for me!) and that's Bikram Yoga. It's quiet, and I get time to exercise my mind and my body.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I believe in the teachings of our Savior. The gospel is so simple, and you can really focus on the truth of it. The gospel never over-complicates life, it brings peace and balance to me. I believe our loving Heavenly Father sent us prophets to lead and guide us in these modern days. Helping us to know how to live our lives and teach our children to grow into wonderful, productive adults. I love one of the main focuses that we have in our faith, Family. Because all things start in the home, and with the family.

How I live my faith

I always loved the saying I once heard "Pray like it all depends on The Lord, Work like it all depends on you." I try to live that way, daily praying on my knees, giving gratitude for all that I'm given. And taking each day I'm given and using it to it's fullest, reaching out to those around me, and uplifting them.
