Hi I'm Kimberly

I love my family and working with children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play the piano, exercise, and hope to one day be a fabulous cook. I believe very strongly in families and can't wait to have my own some day. Until then, I seek to strengthen and stand for the family in any way I can. I am currently studying Social Work and I hope to be able to serve those who need a little extra assistance in pursuing their dreams and goals.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon first and foremost because I love my God. I have seen countless miracles in my own life, as He extends His love and mercy toward me. He has made more out of my life than I could have ever hoped for on my own. He guides and directs me. He blesses me with wonderful friends and family. He forgives me even though sometimes I forget to acknowledge His hand in all things. As I have incorporated the teachings of Jesus Christ, I have come to know of His personal nature, His limitless love, and His ultimate desire to comfort and bless each and every one of His children individually. His power has no limits. His love knows no borders. I am a Mormon because I want to live with my family forever. Because of God's goodness and endless power, we have the tremendous opportunity to be sealed together for eternity in His temples as a family unit. By living the Gospel of Jesus Christ and because of our Savior, we can all return to live with our Heavenly Family again. I look forward to the day when I can walk and talk with God and Jesus Christ again, when I can be in their presence. How I long to embrace them both.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by seeking to help others who appear downhearted or discouraged. I try to treat others the way the Savior would if He were here today, regardless of whether or not they are members of my faith. For He served all, regardless of circumstance or origin. I live my faith by striving to see others the way He sees them -- as His brothers and sisters, and as children of God. I live my faith by attending church regularly and seeking for answers to my prayers there. As I pray for the Holy Ghost to whisper impressions to my mind and heart, I receive direct answers to my concerns and inquiries. I live my faith by serving other members of my congregation and community. I have the wonderful opportunity to work with other Young Single Adults at my university. Together, we discuss the teachings of Jesus Christ and share with each other experiences we have had that have strengthened our faith in Him. I also have the occasional opportunity to teach lessons on Sundays. This is one of my favorite things to do, as it gives me a chance to help others come to better understand how to apply the teachings of Christ in their lives.
