Hi I'm Sean Michael

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a Student going to school and studying Information Systems. I love sports especially basketball.

Why I am a Mormon

I have received a testimony that the Book of Mormon is the word of God and that Jesus Christ has restored His church on the earth again.

How I live my faith

I serve at the Provo temple every Saturday helping members perform saving ordiances for their ancestors. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ it brings me so much joy when i obey and follow the comandments of God.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Sean Michael
Read the Book of Mormon! The Book of Mormon comes with a specific promise. The very last chapter of the book invites us to read and pray. We all can get a spiritual confirmation that the book is the word of God. Start reading the book and then ask our Heavenly Father in pray if the Book of Mormon is true that means Joseph Smith really is a prophet of God and today we have the restored church once again on the earth. What are Mormon Temples used for?

Sean Michael
Temples are used by members to receive special instructions and covenants for themselves. They are places where they can help perform saving ordinances such as baptism for their ancestors. Temples are viewed a sacred places, it is also where our families can be sealed together for all time and eternity not just while we are here on this earth.  Show more Show less

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Sean Michael
God, our loving Heavenly Father wants all of his children to return to live with him after this life. Our Savior, Jesus Christ showed us the importance of baptism. That it is essential for everyone to be able to enter the kingdom of heaven. Sadly, many of God's children have lived and died on this earth without the opportunity to learn of the gospel and partake of its ordinances. Through the plan of salvation made possible by Jesus Christ everyone will get the chance to accept or not to accept the gospel. We are apart of this great work where in out temples we preform these sacred ordinances for those who have died without the opportunity to receive essential ordinance of baptism. As always everyone has their choice of whether or not they accept this work being done for them. Show more Show less
