Hi I'm Alexandria Sue

And I'm proud of my faith :)

About Me

I am a Utahn, born and raised. Many people say that It's easier to be a member of the LDS church in Utah, but I can testify that it has its challenges. I'm just graduating from high school, and am going away to school next fall and majoring in journalism. It's exciting, but pretty scary. I'm a... *Musician* *Book Geek* *Blogger* *People Lover* *Writer* That's me in a nutshell. :)

Why I am a Mormon

In some ways, growing up in the church is the same as being a convert. We all must hit a point where we actively strive to find out for ourselves if the church is true. I was born and raised in the church, but I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I know that it's what will bring me true eternal happiness. Through the plan of salvation, I can live with my family for the rest of eternity! Without the church, I would not be where I am today. It provides me motivation to live a life dedicated to Christ. It makes me a person that will someday look into the eyes of Christ and be proud of what I've accompished and overcome. It make me...Allee.

How I live my faith

I'm 18, which kind of puts me in an awkward position within my ward. We don't have a young adult program, so I either am placed with those much older or much younger than me. I know many youth my age that are in the same situation who have decided it's not worth it. But, I know it's where the Lord wants me to be. This year, I graduated from seminary which is a big deal for me. Last year, I had a very hard time making it to early morning seminary. Yet, I'm here. I did it. :)

What is faith?

Alexandria Sue
Faith is believing in God and in things that we can't see, but it's also action. It's knowing that blessings will come from acting on the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Many times, the Lord expects us to put our full trust in him before we can recieve the answer to our prayers. Faith is putting the Lord above everything else. Show more Show less
