Hi I'm Jeremy

I'm married to my best friend, father of three little princesses...and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a husband to one amazingly talented wife, and a dad to three beautiful, completely different, energetic and crazy little girls! My favorite time of the day is coming home from work, slowly opening the door and having the two older girls drop whatever it is they're doing and say "Daaaaaaaaaad" while running to hug each leg! The little one can't walk, but crawls as quickly as she can and typically isn't far behind. We love spending time together and really enjoy camping as a family! When we can't do that as often as we'd like, the girls love grabbing a hotel room, having pizza (a must) and watching a movie (another must). Fall is my favorite time of the year, for many reasons. Close to the top of the list has to be the fact that it's football season. I grew up the son of a high school football coach, and enjoy watching college football. I graduated from Arizona State University in architecture but I work in the civil engineering/land surveying industry. Not sure how that worked out, but it's interesting to see the journey God's taken me on and the experiences he's given me that have enabled me to provide for and take care of my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Mormon church, but being raised a Mormon didn't just make me a Mormon. I'm a Mormon because of the prayers God has answered, the weaknesses and trials He continually helps me learn from and overcome, the promises He lets me make with Him, and the hope that comes to me and my family from following those that He has called to help us navigate this not so easy, often difficult challenge called life.

How I live my faith

I am priviledged to currently work with the 16-18 year old young men in our neighborhood, and am amazed when I see the way they conduct themselves amidst the many challenges they face on a recurring and daily basis. It strengthens me and my resolve to try and be better! I've worked with young men in scouting organizations for many of the last 12 years and have loved every minute of it. It's great to see those that I've had a chance to work with and lead make the decision to go on missions, come back and get married and begin families of their own. These relationships with these young people and the things we've been able to do are some of my most cherised memories I have.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Jeremy
Yes they can, and yes we do! Why would a loving Heavenly Father purposely break up the most important and cherished relationships we have on earth just because we all have to die? For those that choose to follow the teachings of Jesus Christ, keep his commandments and are willing to make and keep special promises with him and our Heavenly Father, these two things are an absolute reality!
