Hi I'm Trent

I'm a Marathon Runner, Expert House Cleaner, Avid Music Listener and Father of 5. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been married to my beautiful wife for 14 years. We have 5 amazing children together ranging in ages from 12 down to 3. My passion outside of my family work and church life is running. I run about 1,000 miles a year and have completed 2 Marathons. My goal is to run one Marathon a year until I can't run any longer.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because if life has taught me anything, it is that there truly is a "Higher Power" that has created all of us. Through my own study and personal experience, I know and have a personal Relationship with my Heavenly Father, who is our loving creator. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has taught me and helped me understand the important steps that I need to take in my life to strenghten my relationship with God and thus strengthen my relationship with my family as well.

How I live my faith

I live my faith simply by working each day to live that trite expression "practice what you preach." Our Religion teaches many important things, but none more important than simply striving to live as the Savior lived each day of our lives. This is expressed in our interactions with our family, co-workers, neighbors and even our enemies. The Savior taught us to love all and to be charitable always. My daily goal is to follow the Savior's counsel, to "judge not, lest ye be judged" and to do it all with a smile on my face as often as possible.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Trent
Families are Central to God's plan. Because we are sons and daughters of God, He has created a plan for us to be able to return and live with him one day. Jesus Christ is the Central Figure in that plan, and our families here on earth give us the opportunity to strengthen ourselves in Christ while working to return to live with Heavenly Father again after this life. What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Trent
Living in the South for over a decade...this is a question that gets posed so very often by my friends: "Are you saved?" The answer that I give my friends when they ask "If I'm saved" is 100% YES! There would be absolutely NO way that I could live forever without the Death and Ressurrection of my Savior Jesus Christ. His Grace will bless me and all of humanity with the Gift of Immortality, "free of charge." I'm am so indebted to my Savior for his willingness to suffer on the cross for me. So, when my Baptist friends ask me "Are you Saved?"...I answer them unequivocally, "Yes, I have accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord am Savior and am saved through his grace." Show more Show less
