Hi I'm Brady

I'm a Welder. I'm a fanatic of cars and motorcycles. I'm awkward. I am terrible at Ping-Pong. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a SLC native, going to college and currently studying Welding! I am in love with anything to do with cars and motorcycles. I have a Jeep Wrangler, and love to take it out to to the mountain trails!I hope to one day open my own shop and make custom motorcycles and buggies. I am awkward. I love to tell stories and listen to stories. I am a "fly by the seat of my pants" kind of guy; I am awful at planning ahead and try to live in the moment. I am a black sheep of my generation when it comes to music; I LOVE folk, singer/songwriter, and country music. If I could listen to some good ol folk music all day everyday, that would be great!

Why I am a Mormon

I have seen and experienced countless times what TRUE repentance can do to a person. You can see the immediate changes that happen in their lives, and how truly happy the become. Joy from worldly things comes and goes, but the joy that comes from the gospel never ends. That is why i am a Mormon. There is absolutely nothing in this world that can bring us more joy than that which we get from being a disciple of Christ, and living his Gospel.

How I live my faith

I dedicated 2 years of my life in the Dominican Republic preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, and that experience taught me more than I could have ever expected. I currently am a Counselor in the Sunday School Presidency, we help organize and teach lessons of Gospel Principals, everything from the history of the restored church to the fundamentals of the Gospel as taught in the Old Testament. I try daily to be a good example to those around me. I strive to let people know that I am a mormon, even without telling them. Being in school for welding, I often hear foul language and associate daily with many different people with vast differences in their moral standards, and many of them know who I am and what I believe. They avoid using bad language around me and often ask me about my beliefs, and it thrills me to be able to share with them what I know to be true. Although I live in the "heart" of Mormon country, there are still many people right here that do not know what we believe, and I do my best to share the joy of the gospel to all!

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Absolutely the Bible is the word of God! The bible is a history of God's children in the Old World. All the while, there were people who came to the Americas long before Christopher Columbus. That is where the Book Of Mormon comes into play. But the Bible is irreplaceable scripture, and should be studied and applied to our lives daily! Show more Show less
