Hi I'm David

I am a website architect and developer . I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play racquetball, road-bike, and camp. I develop websites and software by trade. Many people think I have too many children (six), but I wouldn't trade any of them for anything. Each one is precious and different. Each on has taught me lessons and brought me joy in their own ways. I am looking forward to having grandchildren in the near future, although none of my children have plans for marriage yet. Life is good.

Why I am a Mormon

Being Mormon and living a life that emulates Christ was something I grew up with, but as I have matured and investigated for myself, I know that living up to a high moral standard brings me peace, joy, and helps me to avoid life difficulties. I think inner peace is very hard to find any other way in this crazy, non-stop, world.

How I live my faith

In the church I have the opportunity to teach the ten and eleven year old members the gospel of Jesus Christ. At first this may seem simple and not conducive to personal growth, but in studying the scriptures in preparation to teach children and youth, I have learned and grown as much if not more than when attending adult gospel study. Also, I have a great regard for the youth. They sometimes say the most incredible and profound things. There is much to be learned in teaching.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

The family unit is the central organization of our religion. It is the central focus of God's plan. It is also destined to continue after our lives on this earth, should we take advantage of repentance, Christ's atonement, and the sealing power of the priesthood. Show more Show less
