Hi I'm Jostin Flake

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to rock climb and go cliff jumping down in St. George, Utah. I attend College at the Dixie State University. I am in a family of 11. Im a brother, and and uncle to 4 Nieces, and 1 nephew. I currently serving on a two year mission in WA, Seattle.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because i have received countless spiritual experiences that have given evidence that this is the true church. I have read the Book of Mormon and I know that it is the word of God. It supports the Bible and gives more evidence that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. The doctrine is sound and I have seen answer to my prayers in searching the truth and reason behind life.

How I live my faith

I like to think about each day as a new start and let my faith build me to be someone better each day. The choices that we make in our lives will help shape who we are and what we can accomplish in our lives. My faith helps guide and set the standards for the decisions i will make and ultimately the life I will live.

What is the Book of Mormon?

Jostin Flake
The Book of Mormon is evidence to us that God does talk to his children, that he is an equal and just God. The Book of Mormon is an ancient record of scriptures recorded by prophets that lived in the Americas' before and after the life of our Saviour Jesus Christ. It is a record of their experiences with God and the Spirit and gives us more evidence than just the Bible that Jesus is the Christ the God of this world, Not just one side of the earth. That he is the God of this whole earth and countless worlds that have been created by his hands. The great promise that comes from this Book, is if one reads it and prays to ask God if its true, they will receive a witness of its truthfullness by the Holy Ghost, by that same witness they will know that God has called a prophet in our time today and still leads and guides his children. Those who ask in faith will know that this is Gods Church today and blessings will come from these actions. Show more Show less

The title Mormon is a nickname that comes from the Book of Mormon, The real name of the Church is the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. As members in the Church we believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, that he was the perfect example in how we should live and what we should do in our lives to have the opportunity to live in heaven with our families. He died and suffered for our sins and he lived again after his death. We know that Jesus lives today and believe that he leads and guides this Church. This truly is his Church on the earth today.
