Hi I'm John Alma

I fix cars. I love football, four-wheeling and food. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to work on cars. I am currently in school getting a degree in Auto Mechanics/Business Administration. I am an avid Apple fan. I love the University of Utah and despite being Mormon, I am not a fan of BYU at all. I served an LDS Mission in Atlanta Georgia. I love being Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because EVERYTHING I ever learn in this Church makes me a better person. It has been the source of the only true and lasting happiness that I have been able to find. I have peace when I go to church. I genuinely know that my sins are forgiven me through Jesus Christ. I know... Really, really truly that Jesus Christ is the only way to receive salvation. HE is real! and THIS is His church.

How I live my faith

I am an active member in my congregation. It's known as a "Singles" or "Student" branch. In essence, it is a branch for people who are unmarried students in the local area. It is a lot of fun! My job is co-ordinating all the activities that the Church hosts. It's challenging but very fun.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?

John Alma
I was a missionary a very short time ago. When we were invited into the homes of people wanting to know more about our faith we would teach simply the history of the Church, who Joseph Smith was, why the Book of Mormon is important and how one is able to find for themselves, without compulsion, if this really is the Church of Jesus Christ.
