Hi I'm Russ

I'm a father of all girls, an eagle scout, and I help people hear. I lived in Africa for 2 years and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I studied graphic design and received my Bachelors from Utah State University. Started up an event filmmaking business (www.castlebridgefilms.com) and created Remember The Word (www.rememberthewordgame.com). I'm a father, teacher, and friend. I love watching my girls learn, grow and share. I'm and eagle scout and love the outdoors. I love playing sports, macs, riding motorcycles and humanitarian aid. I love seeing other achieve their dreams.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church but was converted when I was about 20. Growing up I was involved in scouts, church and sports. I had great leaders and friends that taught me through their example, but it wasn't until I was 10,000 miles from home in Africa that I was converted. While sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ I met lots of different people, different religions, and different cultures. I read and studied the bible, found out for myself if the Book of Mormon was from God and if He really did appear with Christ to Joseph Smith. Words can not adequately describe how I was answered. It's like trying to describe what salt tastes like to someone who has never experienced it. I felt a burning in my heart that was so strong and a peace that was so calm that I knew God had answered me. I have had many more experience since that time to comfirm that what I know is true. The greatest comfort that I have is that I know who I am, where I came from, why I am here on earth, and what happens after death. God is real! He lives! Jesus Christ is the redeemer! May you find out for yourself if this is Christs only true and living church upon the face of the earth is my prayer.

How I live my faith

I have had many responsibilities some of which have been working with the boy scouts, teaching 3-4 year olds about Jesus, and creating agendas for church leaders. I live my faith, by being honest in my dealing with others, treating others as my brother or sister, and living my life in such a way that I'm on the Lords side.
