Hi I'm Sarah
I'm a Welsh woman, raised in England, now living in America, and I'm a Mormon.
I am a mommy/mummy to three of the cutest little scamps you'll ever come across, a boy and two girls, all under four, so you can imagine what my days are like! I've been married to my husband for 6 years, he's my best friend. I love to travel and we both hope to travel a lot with our children so that they can gain an appreciation for people from all different walks of life, and enjoy other peoples cultures. It has been a bit of a struggle to get our three kids here, as we've had some infertility issues and lost four babies along the way, but as with everything in life that is good, they were worth waiting and working for. They sprinkle joy (and mess everywhere they go:).
I was raised a "Mormon", but always had the choice whether or not to follow it's teachings. I have always believed in Jesus Christ, even as a young girl, and have always 'felt' that this Church was organized by Him. I have attended other Churches with friends at various times, but the feeling hasn't been as powerful there. When I was a missionary we took a lady to church with us, and she said as soon as she walked through the doors it felt like she was coming home. That's how I feel, and that's why I'm Mormon.
It's an everyday thing. Some days I do better than others. For me it's mainly about trying to become stronger in those qualities which increase happiness and love. Sometimes it's hard to push negative thoughts or feelings aside when you've been hurt, or when something has happened to someone you love, but my faith helps me to see others points of view, to forgive, and mainly to have hope. When you focus your attention on someone else, and seek to improve their life, yours can't help being changed for the better too.
