Hi I'm Antonio

Hi, I'm Antonio, I grew up in Brazil, now I'm in Canada, I am a Mormon

About Me

My name is Antonio, and I grew up in Brazil, I'm a convert to the church. I moved to Canada where I work as a Graphic Designer. I served as a Missionary in the United States and after that I met a wonderful girl to whom I've been married for a little over 4 years. We have two daughter. We spend most of our free time together, but I do have a couple of hobbies that I love and I practice as much as my time permits: Martial Arts, Archery, Running and Swimming.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up as a catholic, after a while I made my decision in not believe in Heavenly Father. I had to many questions that I couldn't have the answers at the time, so I thought there was no truth to be found. When I was 21 years old, I met a friend as I was going to school that introduced me to the church, I met with the missionaries and for the first time in my life I felt that Heavenly Father was there for me. I finally found the answers for the questions that I had, for the first time I really prayed, and I felt someone was listening and answered me. The Book of Mormon has a lot to do with it, as I read that book I felt Heavenly Father's love for me and all his children, I felt that The Savior really did what He did for us because of His love. As I followed the counsel that the prophet Moroni gives in chapter 10 of The Book Of Mormon, I pondered and prayed and felt the Holy Spirit testifying to me that that book was indeed true, that the prophet Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that Heavenly Father's kingdom was again on the earth.

How I live my faith

Right now I serve teach early morning seminary, so from Monday to Friday I wake up at 5 am(I know you're thinking I am crazy), to teach the youth in town about the gospel of Our Savior, but I think I've been learning more than them. Also, I'm always looking for opportunities in the community to help others.
