Hi I'm Lloyd

I'm an adventurer with eclectic interests, studying Business Management. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in a small town lifestyle in northern Idaho. I have always tried to be the best person that I can. I am a college student and am working to pay for my education. I love the outdoors and wish I could spend more time there. I have lots of hobbies like: rock climbing, photography, scouting and exploring the world around me. I also love my family and the support they give me.

Why I am a Mormon

My contact with the LDS church started with my parents before I can remember. However, I am a member today because of my own experiences. Right as I was about to move out I had a decision to make. I was either going to school or serve a mission for the church and bring this message to people I had never met before. I had decided to go to school first. However, the issue continually came up in my mind. One night I was pondering about Life, the Universe, and Everything, and I decided to pray. I asked the question whether I should go to school first or serve a mission. The answer came only after I had committed to following through with whatever the answer was. I am so grateful that I chose to serve my mission first. Along with that experience I also had to go study the things that I would be sharing and teaching, and then determine if in fact they were true and brought happiness into my life and the lives of others. I have since had many confirmations that Heavenly Father loves me and wants to bless me and all his children through his restored church.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by being like my Savior Jesus Christ. I have a long ways to go still but I still try. I hope to be friendly to everyone that I meet and I strive to help those around me. If at all possible I try to make others feel happy and good about themselves. In addition to that, I also attend church weekly and accept any opportunity to serve in the church. I believe that working with youth is one of the best ways we can improve the world. We need to help the youth around us become strong and moral, by being strong in our morals. In helping other we become the people that God wants us to be.
