Hi I'm Steven

I study Graphic Design. I love to write, draw and eat out. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up most of my life in a small farming town in northern Colorado. After graduating high school I went to college, first in Rhode Island studying Web Design, before transferring to a college in Wyoming studying graphic design and journalism. After two and a half years of school, I decided to postpone finishing my education in order to serve a mission for my church. I was called to serve in the area of Tulsa, Oklahoma and spent most of my time serving people in Northwest Arkansas. Since returning from my mission in 2010 I have been busy preparing to go back to school in the fall, trying to go on a few dates, and trying my best to keep the good habits I developed on my mission. In my free time I enjoy reading any non-fiction book I can get my hands on, watching TV (particularly sports and game shows), and playing video games. I occasionally exercise my creative side by writing, drawing, designing and taking photos.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this faith, but I can honestly say that being a member of this faith has been my choice. I've always had a great desire to follow my savior, and I am grateful for the many opportunities that being a part of His church give me to serve and bless others.

How I live my faith

As a missionary I did my best to help everyone I meet come closer to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and as I continue to meet people wherever I may be, this is my greatest goal. That that they, through me, might feel of their Savior's love and desire to learn more of Him and grow closer to Him. I try my best to go out of my way in my church and daily interactions to come up to people and let them know that they are welcome and included, I personally know the difference that a kind word or simple gesture can make in someone's life.
