Hi I'm William Ralph

About Me

I am a Happily Married Retired Senior Citizen. My Wife and I are Ward Family History Consultants. We both love researching Genealogy,Family History for our and other's Ancestry. We do this, not only to learn who are Ancestors are,to build our Family Trees, but most importantly to prepare those of our Ancestors who are eligible for the Ordinances to be done for them. We also are interested in meeting people, making new friends-and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I converted to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and was Baptized and Confirmed as a member for many reasons. Probably the most important reason(s),is because after careful, thoughtful and prayerful investigation,I realized that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, our Church/Religion is the only true Restored Church of Jesus Christ. Being a member(Mormon)affords me the Blessings of the Opportunity to benefit by the Atonement by Jesus Christ for all of our past Sins,so that we can live our lives according to God's Commandments, the Covenants we made, when Baptized and Confirmed in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As a Latter-day Saint(Mormon) I am Blessed on a daily basis, and have the opportunity to live with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ in their Kingdom throughout Eternity,as well as being Sealed with my Wife(Eternal Partner),so long as I have repented(and not continued them)of my Sins, and live my life, here on Earth according to the Commandments and Teachings of Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Living the Life,as described above-also enables me so many Blessings-which space allowed here, cannot possibly be fully described.

How I live my faith

I try each day to obey and follow the Commandments of Our Heavenly Father, keep the Covenants of our Church-by daily prayer, reading of the Scriptures, share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with non-members,when I have the opportunity to do so. I attempt to be a good example of our Church to my Family,Friends and others, each day. I enjoy my visits with my Home Teaching Companion with our assigned Families in our Ward(Church Congregation). This affords an opportunity to get to know others in our Congregation better,to share the Scriptures with them, and assist them when an opportunity arises.

How is the Book of Mormon different from the Bible? How did Joseph Smith obtain the “golden plates” or Book of Mormon?

FAQ-How is the Book of Mormon different from the Bible? My Answer: The Book of Mormon is actually an extension of the Scriptures provided in the K.J.version of the Holy Bible. The Book of Mormon is the account of early inhabitants of North America, are Revelations by Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, and other accepted Prophets for the benefit of all mankind. The Book of Mormon was transcribed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saint's first modern-day Prophet-"Joseph Smith" from the brass plates left by one of Heavenly Father's Angels-Moroni in Hill Cumorah,N.Y. The Book of Mormon has been confirmed to be True by many witnesses and investigators and readers, throughout the last 170 years, plus. Book of Mormon is the companion Scripture of the Holy Bible as referred to by members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and other interested persons. It provides guidance and answers for many man's questions, needs and lives, here on Earth. Show more Show less
