Hi I'm Cameron

I'm a Father, Husband, Friend, and Railroad Real Estate Executive and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a committed husband and father of four beautiful children. I love my wife, my children, and my life. For me life is full when I'm with my loved ones, learning new things, and growing in faith. I love to bike, camp, take relaxing walks, eat good BBQ, work with wood, write letters, or play a game with family members. I love scouting, working for my employer, and helping others.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because my belief brings hope and comfort for life's most difficult struggles. My faith in Jesus Christ and his plan for happiness is the great truth focus of our lives. I believe God speaks to man today, that he loves his children, and that he calls Prophets to lead and guide us through life. I'm a Mormon because I believe families relationships can extend beyond the grave and last for eternity. We can be with our loved ones, children, and relatives forever if we will love, repent, and follow the plan. I'm a Mormon because I believe in the Bible and the Book of Mormon and I use them to teach my children what life means and how they can guide us through difficult times.

How I live my faith

I'm a loving husband and father first and I strive to be a good example of Christian love to others. I love to visit neighbors and look for opportunities to serve those in and out of my faith. Weekly, I work with the young men of our Church in the Boy Scout organization. My life is full if I am lifting others and teaching. I am committed to the restored gospel of Jesus Christ and how it lifts and guides our lives and those of others.

Do Mormons worship Joseph Smith?

Mormons worship God, his Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost. We believe in Prophets and their importance in the lives of Gods children. Joseph Smith restored the gospel of Jesus Christ after the truths bestowed by the Savior were lost after his death and the death of the early Apostles. Mormons believe Joseph Smith was a great prophet in our time, like Moses was in his. We worship God though his Son Jesus, we honor and follow prophets because we know that God guides his Church through them. Show more Show less

What is faith?

Faith for me is best described by how I try to live my life. Many in the world teach us about who we are and where we come from and though we can learn a great deal about the world and Gods creations, we are always wondering what is all really means. I believe that God loves us and that he wants to guide us in our lives. He wants to speak to us and give us feelings to know truth. Our Father in Heaven cares for us and he wants us to be happy. In this life faith is necessary to show him that we care and that we will acknowledge him even though we don't have all the answers. Faith is a guiding principle of our existence. Show more Show less
