Hi I'm Justin Krebs

I grew up in Utah, USA. I am a husband, father of 3, product manager at the LDS Church, I know families are forever! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My greatest joy in life is spending time with my wife and kids. I also enjoy reading nonfiction historical books and biographies especially about LDS Church history and LDS Church leaders. I am also an avid college sports fan, I especially like to watch BYU and the University of Utah football and basketball games.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up, my family was LDS but didn't actively practice our faith. When I was 12 years old I was befriended by another boy my age from the local LDS ward. I began attending church services regularly and when I was about 14 years old I started to read the Book of Mormon. Over a period of several months, I read the Book of Mormon from cover to cover and followed the promise contained at the end of the Book, Moroni Chapter 10 Verse 4: "And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost." One night I knelt down in my bedroom and prayed to know whether the Book was true. I had a very strong feeling of peace and love come over me that confirmed to me that the Book is true. Over the years, I have grown very close to my Savior, Jesus Christ as I have read regularly from the Book of Mormon and the Bible. The Scriptures have been a source of inspiration and guidance for me. I shutter to think of where my life would be at this point without the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I love the Gospel, I love my Savior and I know that He and Heavenly Father have a plan for me and my family which leads to great joy and happiness as we receive the Gospel ordinances such as baptism and partaking of the Sacrament and following their teachings in our daily lives.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as a high councilor in my stake which basically means I help our stake president who is responsible for our stake. My specific assignment is to manage the technology used for Church meetings. I am also assigned two families that myself and another brother in my ward visit each month to share a gospel message with and ensure they are doing OK.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Justin Krebs
Family is so important to Mormons because we believe that families are not just intended to be together for this life but that they are intended to be together forever. I love my wife and kids and family so much and am so grateful that we have received the sealing ordinance in the temple with the promise that if we keep our covenants, we can be together forever.
