Hi I'm Dacia

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a stay at home mom and a military wife. My husband and I went through several years of infertility and infertility treatments before being blessed with our sweet son. We have now been blessed to have another little miracle on the way. I have a degree in Art. I served as an LDS missionary in Brazil and speak Portuguese.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents brought me up in the LDS faith, but when I became an adult and was out on my own I knew I had to make my own decisions about what I was going to believe and what I would do with my life. I began studying the scriptures like I never had before and praying more sincerely. As I read the Book of Mormon and prayed, I could feel that my Heavenly Father was near and that He knew me and loved me. I became closer to Jesus Christ and learned so much about Him. As I turned my life over to Christ, I became a happier person and I knew that the Book of Mormon and the things my parents taught me were true. I later served a mission so that I could share the beliefs that brought me so much happiness and peace with others. I know Christ lives and that God has a plan for us all. He knows us all as individuals and loves each of us.

How I live my faith

I serve in the nursery helping with the small children so their parents can attend Sunday School and other meetings.

How can faith in Jesus Christ influence us in our marriages and family relationships? in our friendships?

Dacia
It has helped me to be able to forgive others because I know that Christ has suffered for the mistakes of us all and is willing to forgive all who repent. How can I hold a grudge against someone when He is so willing to forgive. It also helps me to think twice about the way I treat people. If we are all loved and valued by Christ, we need to show that same love and value to others that He has for us. Show more Show less
