Hi I'm Beth

I grew up in Arizona and am a married, working mom of 2 boys. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My family means everything to me. I work outside the home in the insurance industry, so every minute I can spend with my husband and two teenage boys is precious to me. Life is very busy so I don't get to do a lot of hobbies, but I love to garden when I can.

Why I am a Mormon

Though I was raised a Mormon, I had to find my own way...find my own testimony of the Savior and his Gospel. I did not take the easy road on this journey, but I did find my way back to my faith and will not lose it again. So many people ask, "How can you be a Mormon? There are so many rules! Isn't it hard?" I tell them no. It makes my life easier because I have a purpose behind the way I live my life. There is an eternal perspective in my life now instead of living for today.

How I live my faith

The best way I can live my faith is by example. I try to live my life in accordance with Christ's teachings by serving others, but I am not perfect by any means. I have served in many capacities in church over the years: teaching children every Sunday, serving as president of our womens' organization, and serving two lovely women in our neighborhood by visiting them every month to get to know them and their families. My husband and I also try to serve our community by becoming involved with the issues that affect our neighborhood.

Why do Mormons believe in “eternal life?”

Our Savior, Jesus Christ, is the foundation of our faith. It is only through His sacrifice that we are given eternal life. What meaning it gives to our lives to have this to look forward to! Show more Show less
