Hi I'm Camilla Lynn

I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I know who I am.

About Me

I have been married to my wonderful husband for almost 6 years (wow time flies!). We were sealed for time and all eternity in the Los Angeles, California Temple on Nove 12, 2004. I am a new mother of a beautiful little girl. I get to stay home with her every day and I love it. I love being a mom. Seeing the cute smiles and hearing the soft giggles that come from my little angel. I am an LVN returning to school next year to complete my nursing degree to get my RN license.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is who I am. I have often been told that I am different. The Gospel is why I am different. I know that we have a Heavenly Father who loves me individually and knows my needs spiritually. I am a daughter of God who love my Heavenly Father and I know that He love me. I know that they Book of Mormon is another true and real testament of Jesus Christ. I believe with all my heart that Joseph Smith was and is a true Prophet of God. I walked where he walked in Nauvoo and The Sacred Grove and have had my testimony of Him relived over and over to me. I know with all my heart that Thomas S. Monson is a true and living prophet that speaks to our Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I am an active member of my ward. I serve in the primary as a teacher. I love the primary children. They are so knowledgeable about the Gospel of Jesus Christ and they love the Savior with all their hearts. I participated in the recent Mormon Helping Hands Day with my 4 month old daughter strapped to the front of me! It was a great day of service.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Camilla Lynn
Yes!!! That is one of the many beautiful things about the Gospel. We do believe that families can be together forever. My father died of Cancer when I was 15 years old. It was very hard for our family, but at the same time there was a large feeling of peace knowing that we would be able to be with him again as an eternal family because my parents were sealed for time and all eternity in the Oakland Temple. Because they were sealed for time and all eternity, that means that my sister, brother and I are seal to them for time and all eternity under the covenant of temple marriage. Show more Show less
