Hi I'm Chelsea

I am a young wife and mother with many desires for my life.

About Me

I am a simple girl living in a cute old house with my family. I love creating, sewing, gardening, cooking, baking, singing, dancing and enjoying my three children. I love opportunities to play my viola, which I do mostly by ear. I love the power and influence of music in my life. I am a frugal, coupon-using and price-matching shopper. Getting awesome deals has almost become a game for me and I enjoy helping my family budget in this way. We try to live simply and appreciate all that we have. I love my house to be organized, clean and beautiful. I love to decorate and have things around me that uplift me throughout the day. I feel the best about myself when I am helping others and trying to be content with the blessings that I have.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a wonderful LDS family where my parents taught me through example and words what Christ desires from my life. I was baptized a member of the church on my 8th birthday by my father. My belief in the church comes from many different experiences and feelings throughout my life, but mostly from my observation of how living the standards set by our Savior and modern prophets creates happiness. Not just happiness that lasts a night or even just a year, but genuine joy that lasts forever. Being a member of Christ's church allows me to help and lift others, have the support and love of a ward family and become a better person every day. This is hopeful and encouraging and effective. The church is true, I know this because it has a power unlike anything else I can find in this world. I feel the power of truth every time I hear a prophet or apostle teaching me and each time I sincerely pray and read the Bible and Book of Mormon. I desire to be one who can share this source of truth with others who are seeking for the peace and understanding that I enjoy.

How I live my faith

I am so grateful to be a part of this amazing organization, specifically as a member of the Relief Society. I love getting to know the women in my area of all ages and backgrounds and learning from them and serving each other. It is incredible. I currently serve in the Primary where I teach the children ages 3-11. The main goal of all callings in the church is to strengthen each other's faith in God. My talents and faith grow as I serve in the different callings that I am asked to do. I try to live my faith in all aspects of life. I hope to be a light of happiness and kindness to everyone around me.
