Do you want to chat with a missionary?

We are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Hi I'm Matt "Wayne" Alexander

I'm in France as a missionary. I love the arts and entertainment. I'm LDS, or 'Mormon.' I'm nobody's fool.

About Me

I was born in Provo Utah, and I have lived all over Utah, California, and in Nevada growing up. I was living in Sandy, UT, before I left on my mission. Oddworld, Brand New, Kurt Vonnegut, George Mélies, technology, and countless other classics and alternative thingys I like! To me the concept of progression is very important. I love the process of change and repentance the Gospel brings, and strive for bigger things.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm 'Mormon,' because I've lived it, and it works. 'nuff said?

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a mission for the Church. I have been called to serve in the Paris, France Mission, and I will return home on March 24, 2012. This is the ultimate experience of living my faith. I don't get paid, I actually pay for it, And I donate every waking minute to teaching and learning the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Who founded Mormonism and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints?

Matt "Wayne" Alexander
Well, in a literal sense, Jesus Christ, because we believe that all we practice in the full gospel and church that Christ established on the Earth. After Christ died, his authority, or the priesthood, left with him. The church he established became corrupted by men, who, although having the best intentions, couldn't keep the truths without God's authority through the preisthood. But, in these latter days, the church was restored by Joseph Smith, a prophet called of God in the 1820s. Show more Show less
