Hi I'm Justin

I am a husband, a college student, an independent IT Consultant, and the best thing of all, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was recently married in the Mesa, Arizona LDS Temple to my wife Ann who I love with all my heart, and I am currently working part time for a small IT consulting company. I have been to Argentina where I served a mission for the LDS church for two years. I really enjoyed the time that I had there to share my feelings about Jesus Christ and the miracles that have happened today to help us be happier and live together forever as a family. I love my family and really enjoy spending time with them, and I can't wait to start my own little family and experience those everlasting joys that come from family life especially when based upon the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the great happiness that it brings to my life. I have prayed to know that the Mormon Church is true and God answered my prayers and helped me know that this is His church. I see countless blessings everyday that come from being a member of the Mormon Church. I can say that it is not easy being a member of the Mormon Church but it is worth it 100 percent. My faith in the Savior grows as I read from the Scriptures and also the Book of Mormon which helps me to better know the Savior.

How I live my faith

In the Mormon Church, each member has the opportunity to visit others in the church to share a monthly message with them as well as see if anything is needed. This way, the leaders in the church help to know who needs additional help. For example, someone may be in need of a job or help to move to a new home and by visiting the members of the church monthly, these efforts can be better scheduled to assist the members in the church with these things. This is a way of looking out for each member of the church so that each feels welcome and part of the Lord's church. I have had many opportunities to do this and I love it so much because I am able to share my feelings about Jesus Christ and offer service if it is needed.

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

Justin
I am so thankful for the concept of Tithing. It allows me to opportunity to serve the Lord. With the money that is paid as tithing by members of the LDS Church go towards building church buildings, help fund the missionary program, buying materials for church use like books and other tools, and many more things. This money is not used to pay any church leader or teacher for their participation or efforts in the church. The LDS church is a church about service and we do all the things we do out of love for those around us and not for personal financial gain. Show more Show less
