Hi I'm Joe.

I'm a devoted husband and a child of God. I'm a Mormom

About Me

Hello, my name is Joe. I'm the oldest of three children and a fourth generation Californian. Since becoming a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, I have served an honorable mission completed my education at Brigham Young University and was sealed for all time and eternity to a wonderful daughter of our Heavenly Father in the House of the Lord. Everyday, my beautiful wife and I live the Gospel of Jesus Christ and cannot imagine our lives without it.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised by wonderful parents who were very strong in their Christian beliefs. I can recall as a child attending Catholic mass every Sunday morning with my family consisting of my parents, a younger brother and a younger sister. Our parents would have us sit reverently, as to not make a sound while the Priest gave his prepared sermon to the congregation assembled. The values taught were good, but as I grew older, I desired to know if God really loved me. I began to search other faiths, hoping that I could receive an answer to my questions. As with the Prophet Joseph Smith, I prayed, more than I ever did before, if I could be guided to a church that would give me some enlightenment to the truth regarding why was I here and where could I go after death... basically, the meaning of life. Through my Latter-Day Saint friends, I was introduced to the missionaries who taught me simple answers to my questions. As time passed, I began to feel what they were testifying was true. Never has I felt such warmth and love than what I felt when praying to my Heavenly Father. I knew, yes knew, that Our Heavenly Father loves us so much, he asked his only son, Jesus Christ to atone for our sins. Not only mine, but for all his children, so that we can live with them forever. I'm grateful for the scriptures and living prophets who offer guidance so that we can" hold on to the iron rod" (the word of God) in returning home to Our Father and our brother, his beloved son, Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon because I know without any doubt that Our Heavenly Father and his beloved son, Jesus Christ live. They love us and want us to live with them. I'm grateful for a living prophet on the earth today and his guidance regarding The Gospel of Jesus Christ which can help me through the everyday trials of life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith each day, one trial at a time, one success at a time. Living The Gospel of Jesus Christ is the only way we can handle the trials of everyday life. How do I know this to be true? Because it is through my prayers and faith that I have received an answer. God wants us to be happy. He wants us to be obident and make the right decisions that will strengthen our testimonies . He wants us to come home and live with him. It's through my faith that I can succeed in obtaining eternal life in his presence. I am grateful to worship him with my wife and the love we feel for him each day. Sunday meetings including the sharing of testimonies, being taught from The Gospel of Jesus Christ from dedicated teachers and a loving ward family provide me with the tools to strengthen my faith and go forward with my daily living.
