Hi I'm Lotlot

I grew up and lived in the Philippines for 25 years. I'm a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I moved from Philippines to United States when I was 25 years old - alone. It was hard to be on my own in a place where there were more strangers than friends. There were pain, suffering, trials and disappointments but through prayers, families, friends and most importantly, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I survived it all. I am now a wife to an awesome husband, a mother of 3 wonderful teenagers and an energetic 7 month old boxador mix puppy. I work from home for a worldly known gadget company. I've been to many places, seen and met so many people. What's the best thing about it? No matter where I go, I know I have families in both side of the world whom I love infinitely and who loves me the same.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the Church when I was 24 years old. Why? Out of the many wonderful reasons why is because it's a Jesus Christ centered Church. What does that mean? It means it's a love centered Church. We believe in charity and service. The Gospel of Jesus Christ has made me and still makes me a better person. It continues to teach me to treat others as my own family. It helps me see the good in others. It helps me appreciate every thing I have including my trials, disappointments and sadness because these are what we are here on Earth for - to learn. And most importantly, I have learned that Heavenly Father loves me so much that He sacrificed his only Begotten Son Jesus Christ so I can be saved. He did that for me. They both made sacrifices not just for me but for you too.

How I live my faith

I love serving others because I've had people do the same for me. I've been called to serve young single adults to help them organize activities that will strengthen their testimonies. I've been called to teach young women for them to know what their responsibilities are as daughters of our Heavenly Father. I've been called to serve women to help them achieve their full potentials. I've been called to serve my families. To love and cherish them. To serve my kids to continually grow in the Gospel of Jesus Christ and build up their testimonies. To serve my eternal companion and always be faithful to him. Service is what strengthens my faith and making Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ my inspiration in everything I do.
