Hi I'm Becca H

I'm a wife, a mother, a photographer and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I met the love of my life when I was only 18. After only being married three months we learned we were expecting! After our first daughter was born, we soon were blessed with yet another unexpected surprise... Baby girl number two!!! When being an adult hit me so fast, it got hard. At times I felt overwhelmed and defeated. But, with a sweet husband, a wonderful family, and the unconditional love of my Father in Heaven...I know that I'm never alone. I know that Im a daughter of a King, and some people search their whole lives for what I have been blessed with at such a young age ; an eternal companion, two perfect babies, and a personal relationship with my Lord and Savior.

Why I am a Mormon

My Grandparents were Mormon, my parents were Mormon, and they raised their children in the church as well. So my whole life I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (mormon church). I always knew it was true, but it was so easy to just say I believed, that It wasnt untill I moved out of my parents house, that I have to develope my own testimony. When I lived by myself I had to make decisions for myself. Including the desision to continue living my Faith. It didn't take long of skipping church on Sunday before I felt sad and empty. I relized that going to chuch on Sunday is what gave me the strength to go through my week. It lifts me up and makes me feel full of love inside. I still felt like I was missing something though. I then had to pray for a relationship with God and Jesus. I learned how to really pray...and listen for their answers. Then slowly build my testamony from the ground up. Because I grew up hearing the teachings every week I somehow took them for grantid. I had to STOP that...and truely believe. Only then, did my testimony have a chance to grow.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day! When I wake up, the first thing I do is thank God for another day. I am also blessed to work with the youth in our ward. I love to share my testamony and see that it is touching a young girls heart. I want to be someone they can "look up to" & see that even through the darkest hour, our Savior, Jesus Christ, is there to guide us to the bright light at the end of the tunnel. I live my faith by example. My ongoing goal is that people will see a light in me. And that they will want to know my Heavenly Father...because they know me!

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Becca H
In short...YES! I believe our Heavenly Father is so smart and perfect in every way.... which tells me that he wouldn't give us only one book (the bible), and then leave us here on this earth to "sink or swim." I know that he is much wiser than that! Instead, he gave us not only the Bible, but the Book of Mormon and LIVING PROPHETS, to guide us throughout the years. The prophets recieve direct revolation from God, and pass it down to us. Our world is ever changing...and so we need constant directions from our Lord. A living prophet is how we can all hear these "directions" at once. They remind us of what we need to work on, and teach us how to live our lives more pleasing to Heavenly Father! Show more Show less
