Hi I'm Justin Anderson

I live in Kaysville, UT and have a great life!

About Me

My family is my life. My wife is the most beautiful woman ever and our four kids are so cool. They are my best friends. Thanks to my MAC and camcorder, I make a lot of fun movies for my family. Most of the movies are about my family, of course. Two of my sons have Autism, which has been both a challenge and a blessing to our family. It is really hard to deal this challenge, but we've been blessed to get a lot of help from God and so many great people. I'm a big fan of college football (the pro's don't play for the glory like they do in college).

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents were Mormon's, so naturally I was one too. But I still had to choose as I got older if I was going to really be a Mormon or not. During those teenage years, I searched the scriptures, prayed and exercised faith. God clearly told me that the Mormon faith was indeed the church with all the gospel truths. I believe that Jesus established his church on the earth when he lived here. Not long after his death, and the Apostles too, that church slowly lost the truths and authority Christ gave them. New ordinances or practices diluted the truth. Corrupt leadership at times kept the truth hidden. About 200 years ago, Heavenly Father and Jesus visited Joseph Smith and asked him to re-establish Jesus' church. And that is what I am, a disciple of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I'm not an "in your face" Christian who tells you how to live your life. I really like to live my life the way God has taught me and respect others choices as well. Now I will tell you what makes me happy about my religion like working with the youth, personal study and prayer, fellowship with the members, and so forth. Recently I've been able to work with the Boy Scouts. Wow what a fun, weird, and important stage of life these young men are in. It is great to see how faith in God meshes so well with the values and principles of scouting. Together, scouts and church are helping these guys prepare for the challenges ahead. I'm also excited that our congregations are growing in this area, so much so that we are building a new church closer to our house. Speaking of buildings, about four years ago they stopped having a janitor clean the buildings and asked local members to do it instead. This has been a neat thing for me and my son to go a couple times a year and work hard together. We've gained a better appreciation for our buildings and we've bonded together as we've worked.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Justin Anderson
Absolutely! Being married forever is the great blessing of being a faithful Mormon. I am so happy to know my wife and I are going to have a very long time together. Show more Show less

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Justin Anderson
This one is easy: pray to Him! He will let you know he's there if you take time to listen with your heart (your soul). The next step is to do what he asks like living the commandments. When you do what he asks, you learn more about him. Show more Show less

How can I find someone to talk with, in person, about the Mormon religion?

Justin Anderson
The best way is to go to the source: visit with a Mormon friend, go to the official websites, talk to our missionaries (they won't bite)! Show more Show less
