Hi I'm Glen

I grew up in Utah and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father of 7 children, 2 girls and 5 boys. I currently have 4 grandchildren. My wife and I have been married for 30+ years. I am a Network Services Manager by profession.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church, my parents are members, but I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know from my own experience that the church is true. I was baptized a member of the church when I was 8 years old. I can still remember that day very well. I was baptized on a Saturday afternoon and then confirmed the following Sunday. My father confirmed me in Sacrament Meeting and didn't believe in long public prayers. After the meeting we went home and he continued his father's blessing at home with just our family. When he did that I remember having very powerful witness of the spirit that I was doing what my Heavenly Father wanted me to do and that He and Jesus Christ both loved me. It was a very powerful witness that I have never forgotten it nor could I ever deny it. I have had many experiences since that one where the spirit has bore witness to me the God does live and that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I have been guided by the Spirit many times in my life.

How I live my faith

I have spent the majority of my adult life serving in the church with the youth. I have been involved with the scouting program for over 25 years and have served as a Cub Master, Scoutmaster, Varsity Coach, and District Activity Chairman. I have also taught youth classes that entire time.
