Hi I'm Paige Nicole

I'm a newly wed and loving EVERY second of it.

About Me

I am an Allergy Technician, student at a University, and a young wife. I am also a daughter, a sister, aunt, cousin, and friend. I love laughing, learning, and loving. My life is not perfect, but I am grateful for the opportunity of the adventure. :D I have goals, dreams, and ambitions. I also have fears, worries, and concerns about the future, but one thing is certain. I've decided to give my life to the Lord. I know he can do more with it than I can anyway. That decision sweeps away fears and instills faith. I am a Daughter of God and I am Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I am a Christian. I know this is Christ's church - restored to the earth like it was in ancient times. I didnt come to know that because He came down and told me, but I can feel it. Living the principles this gospel has taught me has made me happy. The happiness this gospel brings me is real - because it lasts. Its not temporary. I'm able to have peace even when the world is so unsettled. I'm a mormon because of the Book of Mormon. It has strengthened my testimony of my Savior and has helped me learn more about Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith each day, step by step, and moment by moment. It's not a huge thing; it's a million little things : praying when I wake up, before i eat, and before a big test ;) . Its in how I try to treat my family. Its in how i speak and how i dress. I live my faith by listening to and watching things that strengthen my faith. I live my faith by having patience in the trials this life has given me. I trust Heavenly Father even when things dont go my way.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Paige Nicole
A testimony is knowledge of what we know to be true. It is our personal witness of truth that we have come to know through the Holy Ghost. For example, I know that Families can be together forever. I know this because I've felt the warm feeling that has come as I have pondered whether my family will continue after this life. I recently have lost my brother and niece. Peace filled me as I thought of whether I will ever see them again. I know Families can be Together Forever, this is my testimony. Show more Show less

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Paige Nicole
Nope. Not any mormons are "required". Young Men are commanded to serve missions and Young Women are encouraged to prayerfully, and through personal revelation, decide whether or not to serve missions. Young Men obviously have the same choice, but more responsibility is placed on them to do so. Just like in ancient times, commandments are given today. Commandments are not always understood and can often appear strange and daunting, but trusting in the Lord always proves to be wise. Many circumstances and situations such as illness (mental or physical) can make serving a mission difficult. These are all delt with individually with Love. Show more Show less

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Paige Nicole
First and foremost, you must sincerely want to know if The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints is true. Secondly, you must read the Book of Mormon. Heavenly Father will not just give us answers to a test if we've taken no time to study (trust me, i know! ha ha). So study the Book of Mormon. Doctrine and Covenants 9:8-9 (further scripture given following the book of Mormon) reads, " 8 But, behold, I say unto you, that you must astudy it out in your bmind; then you must cask me if it be right, and if it is right I will cause that your dbosom shall eburn within you; therefore, you shall ffeel that it is right. 9 But if it be not right you shall have no such feelings, but you shall have a astupor of thought that shall cause you to forget the thing which is wrong; therefore, you cannot write that which is bsacred save it be given you from me. " Put it to the test. Try it out. Ask God if it is true. Show more Show less

What is faith?

Paige Nicole
Faith is simple. Faith is believing in something you dont have "proof" or "evidence" of. Its something you cannot show others. I have Faith in our Father in Heaven and the evidence is personal to me. Its in the blessings I recieve each day, the prayers that are answered, and the feeling I have as I kneel in prayer to talk to Him. This cannot be proven to another, it is my faith. Faith is so personal and can only be aquired by the one seeking it. I cannot find or attain faith for those I love. They must have a desire and be willing to soften their hearts to see God in their life. Show more Show less

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Paige Nicole
Definitely! God loves His children now, just like he did then. If the people then were in need of a prophet, we definitely are in need of one. I know there is a prophet, not because I saw God call President Monson to be a prophet, but I have prayed and asked. I have felt the spirit whisper to my spirit as I have heard president Monson speak. I have been filled with Joy as I have followed president Monson's counsel. This is how I know. Show more Show less

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Paige Nicole
I hope that Mormons dont only help mormons. That is not the point of serving at all. Mormon doctrine is that every person is a child of God. We should strive to serve those around us, not just those who are similar to us. Show more Show less

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Paige Nicole
Baptism is the third principle of the Gospel. Baptism is essential to being with and like our Father in Heaven. When we are baptized we show that we are willing to follow the example of our Savior. Our sins are washed away and me make sacred covenants (two way promises) with Heavenly Father. Being members of this church and being baptized are inseparable. We must be baptized to be members. As members of Christ's church, we take upon us His name and promise to act like Him. Show more Show less
