Hi I'm Nate

I'm a coach, a teacher, a pretty normal guy. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I consider myself a normal dad. I am married and have a daughter and a son. I teach high school Spanish, and coach the boys varsity soccer team. I love playing with my kids, and spending time with the family, or on the soccer field.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I feel in my heart that the Gospel taught in the Latter Day Saint church is true. I have prayed to God and he has confirmed this to my soul. I receive so many blessings by living the principles taught in the church. There are tough times in my life, just like anyone's life, but I know that God knows me and my family, and that he wants the best for us. When I go to church, study in the scriptures, and pray, I feel closer to God, and more sure of what my life is all about.

How I live my faith

I try to be a positive influence in my community. I like to help kids make good choices, and learn to set goals for themselves. I pray to God every day, and I believe he hears my prayers. I go to church and try to learn about what I can do better every week.

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Nate
Mormons do believe the Bible is the word of God. I am not an expert with the scriptures, but I study them, including the Bible. There are great lessons to be learned which can help in our lives to be found in the scriptures. I know the Bible teaches of Jesus Christ, that is invaluable to me. Show more Show less
