Hi I'm Claire

I follow Jesus Christ and I love being a daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend. I'm studying to be a nurse. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was raised Catholic and joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I was 14-years-old.

Why I am a Mormon

The teachings of Jesus Christ help me know important truths about myself. They are 1. I am a beloved daughter of God. I have always been His daughter. He loves me. 2. He has a plan and purpose for my life here on earth. It is a plan of joy and fulfillment. 3. He sent His Son to earth to provide a way for me to return to Him. (John 3: 16-17) These things help me remember that I have great worth and value. I know that if this is true for me, this is true for all of His children. And who are His children? Basically, everyone.

How I live my faith

I do my best to remember Jesus Christ and honor Him by the way I live my life. I am not perfect. I fall short a lot, but I know that when I do all I can to trust the Lord, then "he shall direct [my] paths" (Proverbs 3:5-6). This promise gives me sufficient hope to get up and try again. As I move forward with faith in the Savior, my confidence in Him and in my future grows.

Can a husband and wife be together forever? Do Mormons believe that families will live together in heaven?

Yes! The joy, love and growth we experience in families are meant to last forever. Our relationships deepen and are strengthened as we do our best to 1) live the teachings of Jesus Christ by following His example and 2) keep the commandments and honor the promises we have made with God and our family.
