Hi I'm Misty

I grew up in Idaho. I'm a wife and mom. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a mom of three great kids, one girl and two boys, and the wife to an awesome husband. I love music, whether it's listening to music, playing music or singing. I love to crochet and cross-stitch and then give what I make away. I love to color with my kids. I love to read. I love to do things for other people. I love to camp and hike. I occasionally take college classes and love learning.

Why I am a Mormon

It is very easy for me to believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I was raised in the church by parents who love the gospel. As I grew up I developed my own testimony and that testimony continues to grow as I follow the gospel. I know that Heavenly Father knows me and loves me. He knows my name and my heart. I know Jesus Christ came to earth and suffered for all of us and that because of that sacrifice I can continually better myself and eventually return to my Heavenly Father. He paid for my sins and my suffering and He knows how I feel in any situation. I know that there is real power in prayer and that I can always pray for help or to give thanks and every one of those prayers is heard. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet and that he saw both God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. I know that there is a prophet that leads and guides the Church today and that he receives his guidance from heaven. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that as we read and study it we can better our lives and have a closer relationship with God. I know that families can be together forever.

How I live my faith

I have had many callings during my life in the church. Some of my favorite ones are working with handicapped children and playing the piano for the children's and women's groups. My focus now is on my family and teaching my children the principles of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We go to church every week and have family scripture study and prayers every day.
