Hi I'm Paul

I'm a father of 3, a husband, an emergency room nurse, and a football coach from small town Minnesota.

About Me

I am a husband and father of 3 teenagers, 18, 15, and 13, girl, boy, girl. My wife and I have been married for over 20 years, we have lived in multiple states and abroad during the time I was with the Air Force. We have settled down and been in our current home for 11 years. I have worked as a night nurse in the emergency department for over 10 years, I really enjoy my career. I am an avid outdoorsman and sports lover especially football which I've coached at the middle school level for 8 years. I enjoy upland game hunting with my son and our two labs we travel throughout the state looking for ringnecks.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because it is where I have found the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ and it's saving ordinances. I have stayed true to my faith because I have witnessed time and time again the joy it brings to my life and to those who share it with me. I have seen first hand lives change for the better both here at home and abroad, most clearly as I served in south america and realized that economic status has no bearing on the importance of having a savior and on following his example. I try to follow Christ's example so that others may see the gift I have been given and maybe I can help them to realize this gift in their life. The gospel of Jesus Christ will bring you, as it has me, more joy and happiness than anything else found in this world and a greater understanding of our purpose here. I am eternally grateful to count myself as a member of this church and for the testimony of truth that I have been blessed with.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by perseverance. I am far from perfect which is why living my faith is essential. I make mistakes and because of this I have need of the atoning blood of Jesus Christ that I may be forgiven. I have been privileged to serve in various capacities in the church from a sunday school teacher for teenagers, to a leader of young men, an area I have served in for over 20 years. I have served as a Bishop, the leader of our local congregation, and am currently serving in a regional position helping others grow and expand their ability to serve.
