Hi I'm Scott

I'm a Mormon

About Me

My name is Scott. I was recently sealed for time and all eternity in the temple to the girl of my dreams. We are both going to a local university and love the life we have. My hobbies are hiking, biking, fishing, skiing,...(being outside), being with my wife, and laughing. I served a mission in Lubbock Texas area and it was one of the happiest times of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to be born into a loving family where the doctrines of the LDS faith were highly valued and practiced. As I went through my childhood and on to high school I was able to recognize that the happiness that I had in life came primarily from the testimony of truth I had received about the Book of Mormon and the restoration of Christ's church in these latter days. I love the gospel!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing my best to develop charity and a love of all man and by being an example of what I claim to be truth.

In whom should we have faith?

We must have faith in none other than the Lord Jesus Christ. As I preached the gospel among the people in West Texas, a big misconception that people had was that we as members of this the church of JESUS CHRIST, worship mostly men. That is obviously false, we respect and honor such men as Joseph Smith or Thomas S. Monson (today's prophet) as prophets. In the same way that the Israelites honored Moses, Abraham, Issac, Eli, and all other prophets in the past. I know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world, not Joseph Smith or Mormon, we are members of The Church of Jesus Christ (emphasis on Christ, not any other man) of Latter-day Saints.
