Hi I'm Jordan Michelle

I'm a law student, a newlywed and a Mormon.

About Me

I am 24 and a law school student. I like to rock climb, mountain bike, golf, and go to the movies. I got married on July 31st.

Why I am a Mormon

I really believe that God loves us and that if we really want to know what He expects of us, He will let us know. As I have studied, prayed, and really sought to try to understand God's will, I have been led again and again to the principles found in the Book of Mormon, the principles taught by Jesus Christ. I have also felt very distinctly that God is with me as I go to church on Sunday and read from the Book of Mormon daily.

How I live my faith

I try to develop my faith in Jesus Christ daily. My relationship with God is strengthened as I pray and read the scriptures. On Sundays, I go to church and every fourth Sunday, I teach other women at church about Jesus Christ and His teachings.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Jordan Michelle
We do everything we can to follow Jesus Christ. I really try to live my life as much like His as I can. He set the example by being baptized. We also know through the scriptures that it is a commandment from God. My baptism was an incredible experience for me and I would love for every one of my friends to have a similar experience. What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Jordan Michelle
Yes! I love reading the Bible. I feel like I really do come closer to Christ as I read about His life and sacrifice. I know that God has called prophets since the beginning of time to help us to know His plan, and many of them were contributors to the inspired writings in the Bible. Show more Show less
