Hi I'm Karen

I love life. I look forward to each new day. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

. Being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. keeps me busy, but I also like to scrapbook, sew, and do family history. I am trying to keep up with technology and enjoy learning new computer skills.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family. My testimony grew as I studied and experienced the feelings of a young person. My husband is also a member so we raised our 6 children together in this wonderful Church. We have been married for 55 years. I know that the Savior lives and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is His Church, restored in our time. I love to study the scriptures and have received my own witness that they are true. The love I have for Heavenly Father and Jesus also gives me such joy! I feel their love for me as my prayers are answered and my faith continues to grow. The Church is such a precious part of my life. I would be happy to share my testimony with anyone who contacts me.

How I live my faith

I am involved in lots of activities. This year I am teaching 7 & 8 year old children in Primary. These CTR lessons encourage the children to "Choose The Right" and follow the example Jesus gave us when he lived on the earth. This Sunday meeting is for children from 3 to 12 years. On Tuesday mornings I serve as a consultant in the Family History Library in our community. I also love to participate in a computer program called Indexing on the Family Search.org website. This is part of a world wide effort by the Church, to share family history information. Interested adults can volunteer. I can do this in my spare time, and recently was one of the indexers who participated in a group effort to make information about 5 million records available. Thousands of people were involved and we acheived 10 million names.
