Hi I'm Scott

I'm a financial advisor, the father of 5 children and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I work as a financial advisor and am married and have five wonderful children. The oldest is married and expecting our first grandbaby soon. The second is engaged to be married to a terrific young man this summer. I enjoy spending time with my family at home and in the outdoors, camping, hiking or just working in our yard. I serve as a scoutmaster in the boy scouts, as a member of a school board and spend a lot of time supporting my kids in their sports and other activities.

Why I am a Mormon

I enjoy visiting with people of all faiths and greatly respect anywho who lives their beliefs. My ancestors found the Church several years ago and sacrificed muched to become members and to live the teachings. Thanks to their strength and faithfulness, many generations have been blessed with the gospel in their lives. My parents raised me with the teachings of the Church which helped me avoid many of the pitfalls and mistakes others have to make. Although I didn't have to "convert" to mormonism from another faith, I've found that living the teachings of Jesus Christ and his modern-day servants brings happiness to me and my family. I'm very grateful to have the gospel that helps us navigate through life in the challenging world we live in today.

How I live my faith

I always try to follow the gospel of Jesus Christ as the foundation of my life. Though it's not always easy, I do my best to keep the ten commandments and other commandments found in the scriptures. This affects everything I do. I work hard to teach my children what's right. I volunteer in various activities in the community with non-profit, cultural and educational organizations. Living Christ's teachings blesses me in my family life, my career, my social life and other aspects of my life.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Scott
This is one of the great things about the gospel. I can tell you it's true but it's better to ask our Heavenly Father what the truth is. He loves us and wants us to know--just ask. Show more Show less
