Hi I'm Jonathan

I'm a baldy. I'm a busy father and loving husband. I put hot sauce on almost anything. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My wife and I are the proud parents of two boys: a 4 year old and a 3 month old. We love going on long drives to north Georgia to see the beautiful houses and farmland as well as hiking to hidden Georgia waterfalls as a family. I'll admit that we are food lovers and eat out way more than we probably should. One of our favorite date night plans is to find a hole-in-the-wall restaurant and rate it if we like it. We enjoy accomplishing goals together around the house and raising our little family. We remind each every day of our family motto: "Progress Not Perfection" which helps us stay positive during the crazy times! We know we are far from perfect which means we can only get better from where we are. The sky is the limit for us! :)

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because it consistently brings me happiness. I know that God lives and that he knows me by name and knows what I am going through. I love him. I know that if we follow His son, Jesus Christ, we can accomplish anything. Jesus Christ's gospel is restored on the earth. If we follow His prophet and apostles, we will return and live with our loved ones again for eternity. I know these things are true and can bring you great happiness and joy.

How I live my faith

I currently serve in a Priesthood leadership position over the men's organization of our local congregation. I am responsible for working with the men to coordinate service opportunities, Sunday school class instruction, emergency preparedness, personal welfare, and most of all, promote happiness in their homes and with their families through righteous gospel living and honoring the Priesthood that they hold. My wife and I also strive to make the gospel of Jesus Christ an active part of our day to day lives. We love the Lord and enjoy reading His words together each night during our Scriptures and Prayers time with our sons. Occasionally I assist others with their Family History and help them find family members that they learn about and perform sacred ordinances for in our Holy Temples. My wife assists our congregation by helping them learn about food storage and also conducts the congregation's choir each Sunday.
